Arianna Johnny-Wadsworth is a proud daughter of the Quw'utsun'/Cowichan Tribes. She was born on Vancouver Island, and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, which has always been Unceded Coast Salish Territory.
Quw'ustun' Made is a project to preserve the traditional knowledge of the Coast Salish Nation in order to pass it on to the next generations.
She believes that people today will only find true healing by cultivating their sacred relationship with the natural world

What does a feminist economy mean to you?
Feminist economy means allowing matriarchal voices to take the forefront in spaces where the patriarchy is so strong. Giving women, femmes, & trans sisters a lead in guiding our elders and youth forward in a gentle way.
What is your work doing to uplift the community?
Quw’utsun’ Made uplifts the community by sharing medicine, carrying ancestral teachings forward in a way indigenous & non indigenous people can be engage with, and teaching peers the importance of self care with products they identify with.
