What does a feminist economy mean to you?
It means we continue to honor our Indigenous matrilineal, matrilocal, matrifocal values and relations but supporting the work and words of Native and Indigenous women as much as we are able (given the constraints of a patriarchal system).
How does your work uplift the community?
We seek to spark the Indigenous imagination through books, games, toys, collectibles, arts, and conversation. The colonial-settler state buried many things including our imagination and our work is about unleashing that imagination so we can once again actualize our Indigeneity in a dynamic and authentic way.
